TWELVE!

We interrupt our catching up to bring you a very important news bulletin. This girl turned 12, T.W.E.L.V.E., tweeeeeelve, ten plus two, 12 today! And, oh, she grows more beautiful every.single.day! She is feisty, smart, funny, mischievous and adds a whole sweet flavor to our life. She loves her family and playing with our dog and singing in the choir and youth group and helping others. Her heart is so compassionate it blows me away sometimes. She is growing into a young woman but still likes playing with the babiest and using her imagination and is not into growing up too fast, which I love. It's a tight wire she is walking well. Can't wait to see as God continues to roll out her gifts and His plan in her life! Happy Birthday Peyton! Honored to be your Momma and Daddy! We love you!

Octonauts Birthday Celebration - Catching Up! :)

We had a little celebration for Miss Brianne marking her 4th birthday with our friends the Brimberry's. The twins are pretty much the same age and it's so fun to watch them play together. Not to mention, their Momma and I have been friends for almost 20 years. That's a long time people! Anyway, Octonauts are the coolest right now and "Kwassey" won the cake. We ate chili and hot dogs, played in Brianne's new play tent, and roasted marshmellows! So much fun!

Our big 4 year old!

Twin friends!

Playing in the secret house ... No big people allowed!

The fire is the other way ...

Marshmellows rock!

Great way to celebrate!

Our December Birthday Girl - Catching Up :)

I let many months go by without developing my pictures and this is what you missed. :) Our babiest turned 4 ... yes, I said FOUR. I might faint. She is all this picture suggests ... pure joy, sassy, in charge, so fun in every way and funny and scaringly-ly smart. Is that a word? So for her birthday day, we went to ride the mall train (a fave of hers), hung out with Santa, shopped a bit with Grandma and finished the day with some Mexican. Fun! Thankful there is Brianne! ... and Madison and Peyton! Life would be so boring without them! We are blessed.

Incredibly Thankful ...

So every time we are on the highway going somewhere (like this weekend when we went to the MS150), I am always so incredibly thankful that this is no longer my view. To clarify, this was our RV, our home for three years, and this is what it looked like when I followed the hubs as we were going somewhere. It is a strange thing to be following your home and all you have on the highway. JFYI. I am so grateful for all God taught us in that season, especially for the time we enjoyed in Biloxi (such a gift!). However, I am even more thankful that God has moved us into our now season and for all the ways He is rebuilding our lives here!

surely I have a delightful inheritance." Psalm 16:6
