A few places I have been reading ...

And, lastly, this verse that is so on my mind ...

"Once our eyes are opened, we can't pretend we don't know what to do. God, who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls, knows what we know, and holds us responsible to act." Proverbs 24:12 (not sure what version this is)

"Don’t excuse yourself by saying, 'Look, we didn’t know.' For God understands all hearts, and he sees you. He who guards your soul knows you knew. He will repay all people as their actions deserve." (Proverbs 24:12 NLT)

Me, too!

Not to be left out, the wee one has decided she LOVES the beach, too!

Such fun!

Tazz!

This is Tazz and she is a beautiful dog that belongs to our "neighbors" from Canada, Bob and Linda. They are gifts the Lord has blessed us with in this season and we will sorely miss them when they leave next week. In the meantime, however, their puppy Tazz and the girls are thoroughly enjoying each other. Bob and Linda have taken us all under their wing while they have been here. So amazing! And, taken to the girls like an extra set of grandparents. They go to the beach to run Tazz and Madison and Peyton are always along for the ride. Pure joy! Thank you Lord for Your sweet gifts to us!

Our plan: Live HUGE!

Living small is not healthy or safe.
Our children inherit either our fears or God's promises.

Please understand, we are not nuturing when we limit our children to what we have seen and known. We are altogether wrong if we set them up to expect too little. Don't position them by way of fear, worried that if we position them for more they may be disappointed. Perhaps you were disappointed and want to spare them the pain ... don't. Living small is not healthy or safe. Our children inherit either our fears or God's promises. -Lisa Bevere in "Nuture"
