Our Amazing Sunday at the Park

Okay, it may be hot and muggy in this Texas town, but on Sunday we opted for the great outdoors and God rewarded us with nature and joy and fun and flowers and fish and family time that was out of this world! Here are some of the highlights ...

If you look closely, you can see a momma deer and her three fawns ...

Hiking down to the river ...

Lovely oldest daughter ...

Lovely youngest daughter ...

Oh the blessing of lives entwined with the Father like the roots and branches of this tree.

Lone egret ...

Alligator gar ...

Climbing back up ... no photo's of pregnant mama climbing up that, thank you very much! Although, I am proud to say that I did it! :)

Heading to the marshy bottom ...

Isn't it amazing ... just beautiful!

Happy, hot family at the end of an amazing day!

What fun! So glad you were able to hike. I don't think I could've done that pregnant. You must be Wonder Woman, for sure!

My husband and I enjoy taking walks together in places of natural beauty. when our kids were growing up at home with us, we often took nature walks. This reminds me of those times.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving an encouraging comment.
