Marinating ...

Lot's going on and yet really not definable yet ... we are praying for God's next step in our lives to be revealed and in the meantime, here's some of what and where I have been pondering ...

• About children and parenting ... My sentiments exactly. Children are a BLESSING, not an inconvenience!
• A great question ... Am I just believing or am I relying?
• Um, yah, this one stuck with me ... "It wasn't that I didn't love God ... it was that I didn't love Him MORE than all that other crap I had allowed to accumulate in my heart. It was that He was competing for my affections ... I had fallen more in love with what had been given to me than with the One who gave it."
• How many times have I thought I was better ... Because we all deserve stoning ...
• Gazing at Daddy ... How I want to look at Him ...
• Something to think about ... "Just because I don't have doesn't mean I am in poverty. Poverty is when you have everything in the world and yet you are still lonely," she said with wise eyes.

Henna "Tattoo's"

A couple years ago, Santa put these henna tatoo kits in the girls stockings and they have laid in wait for this day. Perfect summer fun activity! We mixed the mix, filled the tube and painted away. Here is the result ... pretty cool, I think!

Got to include the other two chicks in our household!

What am I doing lately?

... hanging out with these cuties, praising God for His faithfulness in providing work for my sweet hubby after a 13 months of standing in His promises (more on that later) and praying about our next move (literally) ... big and exciting changes are coming for this family ... wanting to be in His will and make moves He has in mind for us, not ones our earthly thinking can come up with. I know you are excited to know all the details ... so are we! I'll fill you in when things are firmed up. In the meantime, enjoy these beautiful faces! :)

Our sweet Madison is TEN!

Our first born is celebrating her 10th birthday on Mother's Day this year.

The day the Lord allowed me the blessing of becoming a Mother.
