Denver Trip

In June we had the fun of tagging along with Brian at his work conference in Denver. We were there for 8 days, not counting flying in and flying out. Fun! The girls and I took advantage of the great things in Denver and neighboring Colorado Springs. As a family, we ate tons of great food, soaked up the great weather and Brian was even able to join us a couple evenings of events and a couple days, too! :) Since there are so many photo's because we were at a TON of cool places, I'll tell our Denver story in several posts.

We started with "Tiny Town & Train." It was nestled in the smaller mountains of Denver, which was just beautiful. It's also a historical site and was right up Brianne's alley ...

Everything was miniature.

Most of the buildings had all the furniture and people set up inside. Fun!

Fascinated!

We dream of having a greenhouse one day ... maybe not this big!

Getting ready to ride the train! Choo-choo!
This reminded me of all the train rides we took when the bigger girls were younger and we had play group every summer. We always rode the Fort Worth Zoo Train and had a picnic in the Botanical Gardens. Great memories!

What train ride is complete without ice cream? :) My Paw-Paw always took my sister and I for ice cream after riding the train around the San Antonio zoo. Thankful our girls are enjoying some of the same small pleasures we did as kids!
